The flower emphasized in this photo contains vivid colors, and they remind me of colors similar to those you may see if you were watching a sunset. I love the bright colors of this flower. In order to emphasize this bright flower among the others, I used depth of field, blurring the foreground and background. I also brought emphasis to this flower by placing it on the intersection of the thirds in the photo. I did do this in post. I cropped down the photo and placed the flower where I wanted it during the cropping process. One other thing that I did to this photo to really bring out this one flower is that I burned the surrounding areas a little making them darker, which made the bright colors of this flower stand out even more.
